Follow up 1

Now that you know a little about my Runescape character and what I enjoy doing on Runescape, I will start to update my blog everyday and tell you about what I did that day on Runescape. I'll be doing things like killing bosses of course to skilling. I have goals set for myself and I will tell you what some are a bit later but I'll have pics of me achieving them as well as party's.

My boss hunting

Boss hunting.

I have done a lot of monster killing on Runescape and by far the best has been TD's. You have to do the hardest quest in the whole game (While Guthix Sleeps) to even get to them but it is well worth it. I spent a few weeks trying to be able to even do that quest but I did and it got me rolling in the gp. TD's drop a very strong weapon called dragon claws that are worth about 30mil each. sure they are hard to kill and often kill you but they are just so fun to do.

When I first started killing TD's I would look up Drop Logs everyday and see all these other people getting Dragon claws pretty often but I was on a dry streak of about 200 TD's with no sign of claws. I stayed strong though and got a Dragon Armor Lump which is worth less then Dragon Claws but a rarer drop, odd eh?

I looked up the Drop odds of Dragon Claws and I would see odds ranging from 1/200 to 1/400 but I have to belive myself that they are somewhere in the 1/250-1/250 range. I got my first Dragon Claw drop about 2 weeks into my hunt for them and I freaked out about it, I mean who wouldn't over a 35mil drop at the time? I was so happy but it through me off track of claw hunting for a day or two but I soon got back to the hunt.

I was kinda down feeling like since I had just got claws I wouldn't see another pair for another two weeks but a day later I got another pair of Dragon Claws! I was so happy about it and I left TD's again but learning that its a game of chance I went right back the same day and what do ya know? I got another pair 7 kills later!

Makes you wonder if my next claw drop will take another two weeks or another 7 kills? One things for sure I will keep doing it, this is what I love doing on Runescape. I would much rather get 30mil at once over getting 30mil from a a sow skill like woodcutting or fishing though killing high level monsters isn't for the faint of heart.

Some other monsters I enjoy killing are in the GWD. I love going to Armadyl (since I got 99 range.) I can solo it pretty easy but I would much rather go with a team, I die a lot less lol. I haven't really done Armadyl to much though since getting my kill count takes a bit long. I have soloed a Armadyl helmet though which was a free 4mil at the time, to bad it wasn't a hilt though would have been a free 95mil. I've died about 4 times that lost me about 60mil but thats what I love about boss hunting, get rich or die trying.

Now the GWD boss that I know and love, Bandos. I have killed him countless times, he is the reason I started boss hunting. I got my first rare drop from him (other then my first rare from a dust devil which isn't a boss monster.) I was such a low level when GWD came into Runescape but that didn't stop people from letting me join there teams for some reason. I went there for about a week and got my first drop which was a Bandos Chestplate, boy was I glad about that but it just lit a fire under me to go forth and kill bosses!

Oh I cant forget the Corporal Beast! This big thing is the hardest monster in the game to kill, I mean come on its level 750ish how could it not be hard as heck? With a team or even a mass of people you can get a nice combo by him and get KOed in secs. Think though you have a chance of getting drops from this bad boy like sigils, some are worth over 500mil each! the risk is well worth the pay out. I've never got a sigil but they are super rare, thats why they are 500mil each of course!

Introduction
This will be a blog all about my Runescape adventures, if you don't already know what Runescape is, its a mmorpg (Massive Multi Player Online Role Playing Game) owned by Jagex ltd. It is one of biggest free to play (f2p) mmorpg's on the Internet right now. You can train a number of skills ranging from stuff like Attack and Strength to Woodcutting and Fishing.

My account on Runescape is level 131 (138 being the highest) so I like to give almost everything a try on Runescape. I enjoy going to GWD (God Wars Dungeon), TD's (Tormented Demons) and stuff like that. The reason I like going to these places are because I kill high level monsters that have a chance of dropping rare items that are worth millions in gp.

Okay, now I will be telling some of my adventures and achievements on Runescape. I'll start with my first 99 skill, 99 is the highest level you can get in a skill and when you achieve this you get a "skill cape" to wear and show off, showing that you achieved 99 in that skill. My first 99 like a lot of people was 99 Cooking. It took me about 3 weeks from the time I set out to get it. I cooked Raw Lobsters from about level 70-92 I belive then 92-94 cooking Raw monkfish then last but not least 94-99 cooking sharks with cooking gauntlets. <3 99 cooking.

My second was 99 strength, this took me months to get because I didn't "power level". I trained on lots of monsters for this, Giant Cock Roaches, Monkeys at Ape Atoll, Armored Zombies and just here and there monsters. I was so glad to get this because I could hit just as hard as anyone in the game could. I took a break and started doing other things since I had two 99's now but soon got back on track with skills.

My third 99 was Range! I had always said "once I have enough money I'm gonna chin to 99 Range" and one day I just said to myself, 'Jeff you have the money so go do it!" and I tried and failed... I got to bored chinning for hours and hours everyday so I stopped at level 94. About a month went past and I had enough, I was sick of looking at that 94 and manned up and got it and I'm so glad that I did it.

My fourth 99 was hitpoints, though they recently changed the name of that skill to constitution. I really liked this skill because there isn't really a way to pay gp to get it up fast, the only way to get this one up is to do all the hard work yourself. I wear this 99 cape with such pride (plus I think it looks just awesome on its own.) This is my last 99 I have to date but I plan on getting quite a bit more 99's along the way.
